David: I've Been Busy...
Playing WoW with all the bells and whistles. I didn't realize how awesome this game could really look. It's nice to be able to max out the graphics settings and not notice any ill effects.

My newest character. Engineering is fun.

Meeting with all sorts of sinister looking types...

David: More Nonsense...
So, I've been goofing around with Frontrow today. In combination with the Airport Express I got last week, I now have the ability to access my music library from across the room and play it to my stereo using this little doohicky

Also, I have only one cord running to this thing, and that's the power. Everything else (besides digital camera) has a wireless solution. Groovy!

This thing runs circles around my old Powerbook, even when translating through Rosetta. Granted, my PB had a 1 Ghz G4, so I'm hardly surprised. If I suffered through it on that machine, I can accept a minimal speed boost on this machine in certain applications, while confident that hey will be available "Universally" in the near future.

I took the above image with the built in iSight camera. Here are a couple more, playing with the built in effects.

David: I'm Tired and Giddy
Which explains why finding a comic creating utility on my new iMac led to this.

I played WoW for about an hour. I turned all the graphical setting all the way up. It runs smoothly, in the middle of Ironforge. It's a lot prettier too!

I need to go to bed. I'll get back to looking at all my neat little doodads tomorrow...

David: My Lack of Will
I'm typing this on an Apple Bluetooth wireless keyboard. I'm looking at it on my iMac. My processor is an Intel.

After 1.5 hours of transferring from my Powerbook via Firewire I now have a clone of my old Mac with a few new treats. I'm gonna roll up my sleeves and dive in. See you all much later. (I'll have pictures.)

David: "Lost", you are driving me insane!
Okay, so I have a bit of a "Lost" addiction.

Tonight's episode threw a bunch of shit hard and fast, and in typical "Lost" fashion, left it all hanging in the end.

4 8 15 16 23 42. I hate these numbers and I hate "Lost"!

Can't wait for the next episode.

Also, after over 2 and a half years together, I may be selling my Powerbook. I am replacing it with a brand spanking new Dell XPS!

Actually, I think I'm going to purchase a 17" Intel iMac (the 20" is tempting, but, for me, not worth the extra $400). Hopefully, I won't miss the laptop too much. I'll let you know if this pans out.
