I think my biggest regret with relation to video games is the fact that I traded my Gamecube in when buying my Nintendo Wii. The problem is that I had no idea how successful or unsuccessful the Wii system would be at the time.

Sure, I can play Gamecube games on my Wii, but it isn't the same. I feel like I gave a way a trusted old friend and started hanging out with an unreliable, alcoholic one. My new friend seemed cool at first, but I eventually realized he was only cool on the outside and had no substance. You live and learn, I guess.

Another regret is buying virtually every Phantom Menace tie-in game released... wow, that was so stupid of me. That's a different story for a different day though.

I'm going to see Rush tonight in Pittsburgh. I accidentally saw the tour's setlist yesterday and was quite sad.

I am alright with them playing the majority of their new album, but it looks like their mid-to-late eighties period is heavily represented as well. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. That era just wasn't my thing - too many synthesizers, man.

At least they'll probably play Tom Sawyer and Working Man. And, hey, if you think I'm overreacting, here's a little reminder of their awesome mid-to-late eighties output.

WTF is this shit?!

What inspired me to post an old ad for crystal pepsi on Vent was "Paradise Mango Pepsi Next." I got this stuff super cheap over the weekend at a local grocery store. A 12-pack was on sale for $2.99 and the case had a manufacturer's coupon right on the side. The final price of entry for a 12-pack was $1.99 or under twenty cents per can.

The soda itself is weird, but alright. The low cost though got me remembering buying horrible pepsi blue ten years ago for about forty cents per bottle. How many ridiculous side sodas have there been through the years? I remembered diet pepsi jazz, diet coke with lemon, and even the weird coke that had coffee with it.

Jeez. We live in a country where there have been at least ten diet pepsi variants in just the past five years. I know everyone wants to make a buck, but give it a break, soda people... AND STOP PUTTING MANGOS IN MY COLA!
