David: New Black Macbook = Sexy
When my desire for another portable returns, I think this is where I'll go. 'Til then, there's always my wife's iBook.

Edit: I take that back. A quick look at the specs for the new Macbook reveals integrated graphics. No thanks.

I'm hoping to pick up a copy of New Super Mario Bros. over lunch today. I'll be sure to let you all know how awesome it is.

Also, I found out last night that I am one of 10,000 finalists for Google's DaVinci Code Quest. This weekend I have to complete a 5-part timed puzzle challenge. Fastest time wins 3 European vacations (Paris, Rome, London) and 1 New York vacation, as well as all sorts of Sony swag. In the meantime, I've received a cryptex replica, which is sorta neat. However, it's not an actual cryptex, and the first 3 letter dials are useless, as only the last two effect the locking mechanism. Still, it's neat looking and a decent prize to place with my movie/TV toys.

Oh, and lastly, I'm looking for a new art print to hang over the living room couch. Currently the area is occupied by five B&W photographs I took a few years ago and have gotten tired of looking at. I'm thinking of Kandinsky, Miro, or Mondrian. Any suggestions?

Klimt. Specifically "Danae"
Or, perhaps Chagall
or, something by Magritte, like this: http://courses.washington.edu/hypertxt/cgi-bin/12.228.185.206/html/wordsinimages/interpdreams1930_200.jpg

Fresh back from lunch and two levels of NSMB later...

Holy nostalgia! I haven't even scratched the surface and already it's more fun than anything I've played in awhile. Mario's physics are a little bit different (he has more momentum) and there are some new goodies abound, but it's the same tried a true platforming gameplay that the original, ummm, originated.

I'm going to be losing a lot of hours to my DS.

This is the current frontrunner in the new print race:

Everyone knows that there is really only one option...

I would think that the wiring needed for his hand would be a tight squeeze in that little area on his forearms/front wheel wells.

Not to mention that those would likely be high stress areas. That gun looks pretty heavy. I think Optimus Prime's forearms would warp quickly over time. Then he wouldn't be able to fit them back into place when he wanted to pretend to be a truck.

That's why the Decepticons will eventually win.

I'll have to find you the video, the hands just kinda appear, which is weird.

But, since we know that the Transformers can change size, take for example Blaster and Soundwave, or even Megatron in gun form, having little arms really doesn't mean anything. Maybe they are much more powerful than you can actually see.

Ahh, the Link

What the hell?
What kind of print is that?
It's just random lines and shapes.
Why not something nice, like:
