David: Annoyed By Apple
Apple's serious about dropping that "Computer" from not only their name, but also their main focus.

In their own statement, released sometime yesterday, they announced that OS X 10.5 would be delayed until October. These are the same people that publicly made fun of Longhorn/Vista delays.

But there's spin. You see, it's not that they're having problems with 10.5, it's just that they had to pull their OS X developers over to work on the iPhone's interface.

So the iPhone is apparently more important than the Mac. Let's face it, the iPod is more important to them than either one of these.

I love and hate that little "MP3 player" at the same time.

The Ipod seems to be where their money is these days

Which would be the "love" part of the equation, since I like to view it as funding the creation of a better Mac.
Nathan Tyree - (Overwhelmed by existential angst)
Be fair, there's a lot to like about the Ipod. It just shouldn't take the place of the Mac
David - ()
Agreed.

Do you capitalize the "i" in iPod just to drive me crazy?
Nathan Tyree - (Overwhelmed by existential angst)
maybe. perhaps I do it because it's a proper noun.
David - ()
True, but in the Apple universe you capitalize the first word after the "i".

Edit: I meant "letter".
Nathan Tyree - (Overwhelmed by existential angst)
Yeah. I've never like that. I like the products, but unless you are e.e. cummings you should capitalize proper nouns.

Perverse is right.

E.E. Cummings SHOULD have capitalized proper nouns, too.

No. He had a need to break the rules. Anyone lived in a pretty how town indeed.
