David: Farming
For all of you who have been wondering what I've been doing in the World O' Warcraft.
I finally got around to hitting level 70 over the past weekend. I'm now concentrating on my Shadowcloth Tailoring so I can make the 3 piece Shadowcloth set. This is requiring a lot of farming for motes of water, which is frustrating because, as a frost mage, I only have one good place to go and get it. All the other mobs that drop it are immune to my best nukes.
I'm only making these pieces until I decide if I want to focus on raiding or PvP. The tailoring options for frost mages, shadow priests, and 'locks are kind of busted, in my opinion. Someone with frost spells has no need for a shadow bonus, and vice versa. However, fire mages get to make gear that buffs both their fire nukes, and the arcane ones as well. I'd like to get bonuses on my arcane stuff. Instead, I have to cart around a useless shadow bonus.
As your reward for reading about my woes in a fictional GAME, I give you this:
