David: All About My Cauc(us experience)

Wow. Just wow.

The caucus location for my district here in Kansas was a madhouse tonight. The total number of attendees was north of 1,200. About 860 of those gave their support to Obama.

I talked with Demannu, who was with Nathan, periodically through the night, and their caucus location was overwhelmingly attended as well.

During the course of the evening, the ringmaster (not sure what else to call him) asked all Republicans and Independents who had reregistered as Democrats to stand. From my seat in the balcony it looked like it had to be at least 300 people. Nearly all of them were in an Obama section.

It was an amazing night to be a Democrat in Kansas.

Oh, I still do. The previous title just didn't jive with me grammatically. It was like saying, "I like horse." (cauc(us)).

Besides, I wanted it to be about my cauc(us). I'm proud.
