We're gonna make posters with them. Having them point to the "geek" page will let us know how much traffic they (hopefully) generate.

That is a good idea. I think you should offer a reward for the visitor, perhaps a special episode that cannot be accessed another way. Let them know that they have found a prize.

How do you know where info can be edited?

Redundancy is built into the code. With the length of your address, I suspect you could get rid of a quarter of the blocks and still access it. The problem is that the redundancy is there for a reason. It makes the code readable even if the camera doesn't capture all the data. I would keep the changes small.
