David: I Really Like Batman: Arkham Knight

There's a secret identity reveal in Arkham Knight that you can see coming from a mile away if you have more than the vaguest knowledge of Bat history. I was pretty sure that I knew who the Arkham Knight was under his mask the first time I heard him talk about Batman, and I avoided any spoilers for this game like the plague. What's great about this, is that the Arkham Knight is just a fake out to draw your attention away from the real story of this game. After the Nolan movies it sounds a bit cliche, but I think this is some of the best work showing Batman looking inside of his own head and figuring out if he likes what's in there.
The gameplay is still great. The fighting has gotten more complicated, with gadget counters now introduced to the mix. I like driving the Batmobile. I don't like turning it into a tank and fighting other tanks. The property damage I'm doing to Gotham feels very un-Batman, but with the stakes in the game where they are it kinda makes sense.
