David: A Mac Nerd's Speculations
Tomorrow sees day one of the annual Macworld expo in San Francisco. This traditionally sees a keynote from Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs repeatedly uses this as a platform to debut Apple's newest products.

So, what's going to be new tomorrow?

I'm hoping beyond hope that the first Intel based Macs are released for purchase. I won't be buying one (I've already been bitten by the revision A bug, I'll wait an iteration or two), but I'm anxious for them to get out on the market and read consumer reviews. From what I've read on other sites, the money's on Intel based notebooks. I'd really like to see a completely new Powerbook design.

Also, I've seen some conversations about the Minis and them being revamped as media centers, complete with Apple's Frontrow. Since this was my first thought when I saw the Mini, I hope this will be the case. This could spur my desire to purchase a new HD set...

In other news...

Nevermind. I'll save the other news for a later post.

Nathan Tyree - (Overwhelmed by existential angst)
I'm actually ordering an ibook later this week. I want to get it before the Intels come out.
