David: Why My Website Never Gets Updated

I spend all my time staring at this chick's back.

So, now I'm back to level 60. I don't know if it was just a result of more experience, or additional content, but I enjoyed the Horde side much better than I ever did my Alliance characters.

Now to check out some of that sweet, sweet 60-70 content.

David: Zombie Tripps

I have just woken up from the best zombie dream.

People didn't become zombies through a blood infection in this dream. Instead, it was passed on by a through the air virus. This virus was a lot like the superflu from The Stand; it started out with cold-like symptoms and an extremely small percentage of the world was immune to it.

I'm already forgetting most of it, but a few things that stand out:

• I was swinging a hatchet around dismembering zombies.


• If I wasn't sure if someone was infected or not, I gave them a shallow cut with the blade of my hatchet. Those who were infected's blood would bubble when it hit the air.


• After the last person I knew of who wasn't a zombie started having cold-symptoms, I cut her with my hatchet to check. Her blood bubbled. She asked me to kill her. I waited until she turned.


• I was all alone in the aftermath, and looking through a cupboard for food when I started getting the sniffles and realized that I wasn't feeling too great. I was just getting ready to cut my arm with the hatchet to check my blood when I woke up.

All in all, a pretty cool dream. It wasn't ever really all that scary, just confusing.

David: Annoyed By Apple

Apple's serious about dropping that "Computer" from not only their name, but also their main focus.

In their own statement, released sometime yesterday, they announced that OS X 10.5 would be delayed until October. These are the same people that publicly made fun of Longhorn/Vista delays.

But there's spin. You see, it's not that they're having problems with 10.5, it's just that they had to pull their OS X developers over to work on the iPhone's interface.

So the iPhone is apparently more important than the Mac. Let's face it, the iPod is more important to them than either one of these.

I love and hate that little "MP3 player" at the same time.

David: The Unpopular Opinion

You know what? I think everyone needs to shut the fuck up and leave Don Imus alone.

So the guy said something that you don't agree with. So maybe it was offensive. So what? We can't say offensive things on the radio anymore?

If he had called Hugh Hefner's girlfiends a trio of pale-faced whores would we be reading news stories about how he's been suspended for two weeks? Would the leaders of the "white community" be outraged?

What's that you say? The fact that Don Imus is white gives him the right to degrade white people but denies him the right to degrade other races?

Okay then. What if Ned Holness (AKA "Carlos Mencia") had made a remark against "Hef's Hos"?

I'm not arguing that Imus's comment was in good taste. It wasn't. I'm just stating that the media and Al Sharpton are making much ado about nothing. I mean, Christ, it's a comedy show! He wasn't reporting the fucking news! He didn't go on air and say, "You know what America? The women's basketball team at Rutgers consists of a lot of nappy-headed hos. Just thought you should know."

Trust me Rutger's women basketball team, you're not the first group to be made fun of on the radio, and you won't be the last.
