Just watched the Bill Maher movie. Although he had some good bits, I felt it was missing something. The title tells you everything you need to know about the movie. It's a portmanteau of religion and ridiculous. Maher travels the world to talk with religious zealots. He makes them look stupid. He puckers his face at the camera like he just ate a lemon. He does this over and over. The problem is that he never makes a journey. He just travels.

He does put the song Road to Nowhere over the credits. Love that song. It is a great song to put over credits. It was the high point of this movie for me. Road to Nowhere was also great over the Little Monsters credits.

I don't think Bill Maher is nearly as smart as he thinks he is. I haven't seen the movie, and probably agree with it on principle, but Maher is so full of himself it's offputting.

I'm getting tired of celebrity documentaries. I never seem to learn anything by the end except their opinion.
