Impact is a Squirrelist winter holiday. Squirrelism is a religion I made up for my comic strip. Believers worship the World's Second Largest Godlike Squirrel. When the Squirrel came to the Earth from outer space, he brought life to the planet. Thus, Squirrelism deals not so much with the origin of the universe itself but of life on Earth. Impact, celebrated on December 29th, commemorates the Squirrel's arrival on this planet.
