2-HeadedGiraffe: Naming Part of a Pipedream
Book 6 of my comic is almost finished. Each book's title is required by tradition to be a line from that book. So we have so far:

1) I Think I Stepped in the Chosen One

2) Becoming One With the Sand

3) I am Become

4) Deux ex Idaho

5) Garage au Trois

Now I want to get opinions what the title of book 6 should be. The following is a list of suggestions:

1) Soft, Fuzzy Layer of Hope

2) Cold, Indifferent Upper Lip of Life

3) Poor Eyesight and Willful Ignorance

4) Where's Your Squirrel Now?

5) Mustachelessier

6) Don't Spook the Fish

I know most of you haven't read the strip (or at least I don't think you have), but if any of those titles seem interesting, let me know.

2-HeadedGiraffe: A New Challenger Emerges
I saw this on the news today and just had to share. This is in response to an ad McCain is running which features Paris Hilton at the beginning, in which McCain compares Barack Obama to her and other such celebrities.

2-HeadedGiraffe: McCain
The McCain campaign is making a big deal about John McCain having been taken prisoner and tortured during the war, and particularly about how he refused to leave when offered release until his coworkers were also released. What does this really tell us about the man?

1) He's wasn't particularly good at his job. I mean, come on. He got himself captured.

2) He values loyalty over self-preservation. Rather than getting out, where he might conceivably even have been able to do some good for the other captives, or the cause in which we can only assume he believed, he stayed with them and accomplished nothing.

Yeah, this is the best story you can use to pump up this guy's image. Actually, though, since the average American won't realize this is an example of his incompetence, it potentially WILL do a great deal to help him, which is just appalling. We didn't even belong in that war in the first place.

2-HeadedGiraffe: What? The Devil is Evolving!
This Discovery News article talks about the plight of the Tasmanian Devil. Apparently, they've started breeding at a younger age in response to high mortality rates due to the facial tumor disease which has been ravaging their population since the 90's. It's unclear whether it's a natural disease or accidentally caused by people (the latter seems likely, though, with how we've otherwise raped this planet).

Anyway, I just find this stuff fascinating, while at the same time, it's disturbing. Stupid humans.

Mood: This is upsetting
