2-HeadedGiraffe: Naming Part of a Pipedream
Book 6 of my comic is almost finished. Each book's title is required by tradition to be a line from that book. So we have so far:

1) I Think I Stepped in the Chosen One

2) Becoming One With the Sand

3) I am Become

4) Deux ex Idaho

5) Garage au Trois

Now I want to get opinions what the title of book 6 should be. The following is a list of suggestions:

1) Soft, Fuzzy Layer of Hope

2) Cold, Indifferent Upper Lip of Life

3) Poor Eyesight and Willful Ignorance

4) Where's Your Squirrel Now?

5) Mustachelessier

6) Don't Spook the Fish

I know most of you haven't read the strip (or at least I don't think you have), but if any of those titles seem interesting, let me know.

2-HeadedGiraffe: Multiple Personalities
So I was watching Cheers the other day. It was the episode in which they decide to try to get an advertising jingle written for the bar. Of course, if you know the show and know the episode, you probably already know where I'm going with this. The jingle writer was played by John Mahoney, who would later go on to play the completely unrelated character of Martin Crane, Frasier Crane's father on the spin-off series, Frasier. This was back when Kirstie Alley wasn't fat, just ugly.

2-HeadedGiraffe: Obama Trivia
I heard a bit of an interview with Barack Obama the other day. First of all, he prefers the Rolling Stones to the Beatles, and he recently bowled a thirty-seven. I can't remember the rest.

2-HeadedGiraffe: A Sneeze, a Kiss, and a Chance Meeting
It's a small world after all...

When I graduated high school in 2002, I began attending classes at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. While there, I started running into this one young lady. We went to breakfast at the same time most days. We both attended at least one show at the same time. We kept running into each other even though we hadn't actually met.

It's a small world after all...

So one day in line waiting to get into the cafeteria in the morning (it was probably a weekend because people usually showed up early because of how late the cafeteria opened) she was standing right in front of me in line. She turns around and introduces herself. Her name, by the way, was Annie Kachukiss (I might be spelling that wrong, but she said it sounds like a sneeze and a kiss). We got to talking and whatnot, and thereafter we usually had breakfast together, eventually with a fair-sized group of others we met.

It's a small world after all...

One of those other people was her brother, Nicholas Kachukiss (again, unsure of the spelling). Flash forward to the present. I haven't been in Illinois in several years and now I go to school in Kalamazoo, MI. Well, who should I run into at the rec center but Nicholas Kachukiss? Apparently, he lives in Kalamazoo.

It's a small, small world.

2-HeadedGiraffe: Evolution Day?
Today in 1859, Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Existence was published.

Today in 1974, the Australopithecus afarensis nicknamed "Lucy" after the Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was discovered.

Also, in 1639, Jeremiah Horrocks observed the transit of Venus, and in 1969, the second manned mission to the moon, Apollo 12, returned to Earth.

As Dexter would say, "Today is a good day...for science!"
