toodldo_4julie: things
that little plane in the sky above my dorm looks like a small insect from afar... i wonder if someone that didn't know what it was would even remotely think that there were people in it, and that it was several (however many) hundred feet off the ground, up in the air?
do the birds really have a birds' eye view? their eyes are in the sides of their head, so they probably see the ground at an angle pointing outwards from their body, not directly down from above...
i wonder if my skin would get eaten away if i could manage to get my hand in the microwave, and turn it on... that might not be a good thing.
the skin on the insides of the arms is very sensitive, but more so when someone else rubs it. why do our minds play such strange tricks?
peanut butter is difficult to swallow, made even more so when on crackers, yet i continue to eat it, because it tastes good. i wonder how difficult it would be to swallow anything if one didn't have any spit, i mean, it's hard enough to eat food when there is something to wet it, imagine a completely dry mouth... with no glass of fluid to drink while ingesting food..
how do those glass-blower people make such perfect shapes..? i mean, i've seen it done, over a fire and everything, but still, i don't think everyone has that patience, to sit there and blow into the stick and rotate it at just the right speed so that it opens up evenly on all sides.. :P and when they make stuff in bulk..how are mugs and stuff made... they must have molds that they put them into on big factory lines or something, but still, one would think that there would be some imperfection somewhere on it. there isn't. my glass snowman mug is quite perfect, like it had been naturally made that way.
sleeping on someone else's couch and waking up to their voice is an interesting experience, but ultimately ineffective as an alarm clock. i rather dislike the blaring yell of my alarm clock, but it wakes me up... but the soft voice is preferable, for weekends anyway..
bagel chips must have been created specifically to break teeth, they seem to have no other purpose. they are not filling, they do not taste spectacular.. i mean.. :P i'm just glad i have strong teeth..
music is a beautiful thing, yet so many people do not know how to appreciate it. that saddens me. i'm glad that most of my friends are open to, or at least, really love, music, because that really is life. imagine a world in silence, with no music on the air. what a depressing and lonely life that would be.
root beer is quite tasty.
hearing something over and over really can get to a person after a while, especially if it's something like the menu for the Shrek dvd, w/ donkey jumping up and shouting 'pick me, oh please'... it goes on and on. like it's looped. and then if you get distracted or don't feel like getting up, because you're too comfy or something, it just goes on and on... it can become quite traumatizing... or special... hehehe
anywho..yeah.. my random thoughts this morning..
:P
