pittsburgh is big. and not as nice as i thought it would be. i thought it would be sort of a new-looking, sparkly sort of place. but it was older, w/ more culture, but not as kept up as i'd thought it would be.

however, it was still nice, and fun. there are lots of small out of the way places that have much good food. lol.

though, the drivers there (in general) are horrifying! especially when the roads are slushy!! lots of cutting in front, and cutting off, and speeding then slamming on the breaks, and switching lanes in the tunnels. aaahh!! lol

overall though, an enjoyable place to visit.

i think giving blood really dehydrates a person. my hands are very dry. like, my palms and fingers. and they're never this dry! how completely fascinating!

except for when one slides into a snowbank when only wearing flip flops... brrr! lol...but hey, it was still fun.

watched many movies (ones i hadn't seen before), had much fun, went to sheetz.. etc.. lol. overall my weekend was quite relaxing. :D

i educated three friends on lotr rotk it was quite rewarding. especially their almost frightened/in awe looks as i knew all the lines to the movie.. lol.

:D i like hidalgo. heh. i think it's got more to do w/ the horse than viggo mortensen, though i do think he's a great actor. the story itself is pretty good too.. i mean, the real story behind it. just bought it at walmart yesterday. also watched it yesterday, for the second time. (first time was in the theater)

watched american history x. i think it has a good message in the end. sort of a disturbing movie overall though. :

i really must be able to sleep through anything, cuz last night i slept w/ movie, lights, and talking. lol.
