i had lab work done this am. they couldn't find my veins. we had to page iv therapy at 6 cuz apparently the normal lab ppl can't stick too well. i was stuck and dug around twice in my right arm (inside of elbow and top of hand), taking up like.. 20 minutes. then the iv therapy nurse came after paged, and took less than a minute to poke me and fill up two tubes. yay for bloodwork

whenever you're in a line at like a cafeteria and you get something like turkey that they carve off or mashed potatoes and they ask you if you want gravy:

"would you like any gravy on that" -server
"maybe just a little" -customer
"alright, you just tell me when ok?" -server
server then scoops an entire 4 serving glob of manmade gravy up, (a lot more than your "just a little" for your ONE serving)and instead of pouring it slowly over your selection of gravy-friendly food, he/she dumps the entire thing so quickly you cannot even begin to curl your tongue to say "that's plenty".

anyways, i had turkey with my gravy tonight.
