Legend of Zelda and Metroid seem to be automatics. I'd be interested to try one of the Trauma Center games (this one or the one on the DS). Other than that, nothing majorly stands out, though almost any of them could be good.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this mean this is the first Nintendo console to launch without a Mario game? Unless I'm missing it on the list, there's none there. Luigi's Mansion barely counts, but it was a Mario franchise character and I believe it was a GCN launch title, wasn't it?

One more thing: if anyone from Square reads Vent, forget the Crystal Crapicles and bring main-sequence Final Fantasy games back to Nintendo consoles. I don't mean remakes for the handhelds (though those have been good, too). I mean FFXII on Wii. I mean VII-X, if you would be so kind. VII - IX could probably easily be put on DS, even. Throw us a bone here, Square. Or should I say "Square-Enix?" (Squeenix for short).

Depending on whether or not I get a Wii when it comes out, I might just end up getting Twilight Princess on Gamecube. Metroid Prime 3 will probably be cool. Red Steel looks sweet and probably will change how I feel about first person shooters on a console forever. Trauma Center and Wii Sports could both be cool due to the s-wii-t controller. I'd like to say I'm anxious for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, but they haven't done any of those as well as the original, in my opinion.

One thing I find amusing is Excite Truck. Could've it killed Nintendo to revive the Excite franchise using a different vehicle? Here are some suggestions:

• Excite Segway
• Excite Rickshaw
• Excite Bus
• Excite Bike - never hurts to stick with what works.
