We're speaking in terms relative to the common man - they are the celebrities of the radio world while the proletariat everyman makes very little. It's cut-throat, but enjoyable.

Been there. At the last radio station I was at, the Program Director made a whopping $14K a year. Of course, the owners were a real cheap bastards.
