fuzmeister: Numbers
So last night I found out about these things called number stations. I don't know if I should actually be talking about these or not, but they are shortwave stations transmitting cryptic messages (often strings of numbers). Their origin is unknown, but the general thought is that they are related to espionage. The readings on these stations are monotone, soulless, and seemingly random. This fascinates me for some reason.
Speaking of numbers, there is a movie coming out called The Number 23 which looks pretty good. It's interesting I saw an ad for it yesterday because tomorrow I turn 23.
While I'm not very good at math, numbers have always intrigued me. I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with the number five. Many things in my life seem to have significant association with 5. It's strange to think in such a surreal manner though considering numbers are really a man-made concept (are they?). Who knows?
My parents came to visit my new house yesterday - I've only seen them a few times every year for a while now. I was sad to see them leave. Today I am going to visit Kate and celebrate my journey into the year of 23 - a year that seems less and less like immature brat age and more and more like give me my sponge bath age.
Mood: Chilly
Music: John Frusciante - 23 go in to end
