fuzmeister: Galaxy

So far, Super Mario Galaxy is a really great game. I'm not terribly far into it after one night (I have about 20 stars), but it's definitely got some really fun parts.

Plus, they brought back the super challenging bonus stages from Sunshine that everybody but me hated... actually, probably everyone but me hated that game.

I didn't hate Sunshine, and, even though some of the bonus stages were challenging, that was a good thing. Sunshine was great except that it lacked SM64's diversity of environments.

Sweet Sweet Galaxy angered me for a while.

So far, I'm enjoying the game. Something about it is a bit off, though. Can't quite put my finger on it yet.

Sweet Sweet Galaxy was hard, but fun! :)

Some parts so far, I think, feel really linear. Not neccessarily bad, just different than having totally non-linear levels.

Fuz, I came to this board today for the sole purpose of telling you exactly the same thing. Mario Galaxy is great! I was very skeptical of the whole space/planets thing with the weird gravity rules and such, but it works well. It's not the confusing mess I was worried it would be.

Also, Sunshine sucked. This game just shows me how MUCH Sunshine sucked. :)
