fuzmeister: New Waive
After a brief hiatus from sending out demos every week to record labels, I am continuing the grind this week. I've got eight labels pending. I will say that it's getting tougher to find decent labels to send to - it's a shame we live in a world where art has to be commercialized to a degree to ever reach any kind of masses.
I don't mean the art itself must be altered, but we live in a world today where most bands and artists only release new material every couple of years and spend ages recording each album. The Beatles had more releases in their career than bands who have been around twice as long.
I guess I just think that if you're a musician, you should probably be writing music all the time. Same with writers, painters, etc. Though writer's block happens - even happens to those who aren't writers.
Mood: Intrigued

Remember, The Beatles quit doing concerts in '66.
