While I agree everything I've seen first hand or heard about the 3-D Sonic games is pretty damning, he must be doing right by somebody to keep getting sequels. As a gamer, I feel they should either recapture the things that made the originals good, find some new, equally entertaining direction, or retire the character.

The capitalist in me, however, says if the character is still financially viable, they should keep putting him in games, and those of us who don't like them don't have to play them.
