I think I stole a song from Metallica... I mean, the original was released just over five months after I was born. Also, I think the likeness in composition was purely coincidental.

I've felt guilty about it for a few months now. It's just a shame considering I think my "copy" is one of my best songs.

I used a capo on the third fret when I wrote it, so even if I was intentionally copying one of Ride The Lightning's best tracks, that doesn't mean I copied it accurately.

Here's hoping Lars doesn't sue me.
