seriously? great? I vote lame. I already saw this joke on Family Guy. a couple of times I think.

I remember when Family Guy started, I thought it was hilarious. Then it got canceled. Then it came back and everyone cheered.

That first season is still hilarious, but it's lost much of its appeal due to the successive seasons of utter crap.

And this video? Shit. What's the fucking joke? That they talk funny or that Muhammed Ali has Parkinsons or that Bob Dylan has been making shitty music for the past two decades?

No, the joke is that he's got an advertising deal to make this crap and I just watched a Priceline ad.

I'm going with "mediocre," and not just because I think it's a cool word. I still like Family Guy, mostly, but this video is not up to that quality.

It's funny. Sue me. I like the gag. Sure I've seen it before- SNL had Tom Petty Translate for Bob Dylan. I laughed then. The Pikey subtitles in Snatch made me laugh. Sometimes old jokes are the best.

Family Guy, by the way, has been much funnier in recent years than at its inception. The first two seasons were "funny" but not very smart. The last few years has seen it grow more acerbic, angry, satirical and fucking hillarious.

I'm going to agree with Nathan here. I find the clip amusing - especially Tom Waits' bear-like grumbling. Like Nathan, I "like the gag."

Yes, David's probably right about it being a glorified Priceline advertisement. Seth Mcfarlane probably sold out, but I wasn't trying to argue the clip as being high brow comedy.

I merely found it amusing and worthy of posting. I'm not going to argue about Family Guy. I will simply say that I find the show amusing and mostly funny albeit often predictable and very much based on a formula.
