fuzmeister: Thompson's Tea
This may sound appalling to some of you, but I tried it tonight and was pleased with the mix.
You can get away with a bottle of the brandy for $12 or so and the Southern Comfort will run you around $25 (I think). As for the iced tea, I suppose almost any generic brand of tea would work. The sweetness should help out with the taste though - so aim for something sweeter.
Anyway....

Vodka Martini:
Place vodka in a shaker filled with ice. Show the vermouth to the vodka, making sure that no vermouth makes it into the shaker. Shake for 30 seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Don't waste time with onions or olives.
Bourbon:
Put bourbon in a flask. Drink it.
