All I really want to do is be able to record something. My own personal aspirations for music can wait. Projects like my Allusions to a God record have been put on hold not because of creativity issues, but because of the impracticality of recording. I've been interested in experimental and, sometimes, progressive rock music like the kind heard on Ataxia's Automatic Writing album. Lately, I've also been listening to a lot of Depeche Mode. It amazes me how human their music is for the lack of non-electronic instruments on most songs.
I found out today that I might be able to see Kate over the New Year's holiday. That would make me really, really happy. I'd also like to be able to record some music sometime soon.
