The celebration officially began last night. The birthday thing is overrated, but if it is on a weekend I want to milk it for an excuse to hang out. Last night the lot of us got some pizza delivered and, oh, was it ever tasty.
Last night I found out about this band called She Wants Revenge from L.A. They're very influenced by bands like Joy Division... (early) Depeche Mode... post-punk, krautrock combined with goth-rock-ish lyrics. Anyway, good stuff. I recommend checking them out - it's rare that someone these days tries to form a band based around that kind of music. I respect that.
