Kate surprised me with this today - an engagement present perhaps? She had been in Canada for her spring break and stopped by my beloved guitar center on the way back. Awesome piece of guitar; I can't wait to really rock it out. Perfect sound for what I'm going for in recording NoVA.

The internet is a great place (mostly). I just found this "web comic" called Garfield Minus Garfield. It examines how a reader would perceive Jon Arbuckle if Garfield wasn't in the strips. Yes, it's bizarre to think anything can be amusing taken totally out of context, but I found it amusing. I guess I'm posting this here mostly for Kyle because he's a fan, but anyone else might enjoy this too. I've been more amused so far than I have by Garfield in the past ten years of Jim Davis' strip.

Trent Reznor is a pretty cool dude. Yesterday, he released two new hours of music very anticlimactically via the Nine Inch Nails web site and Amazon MP3. Plus, the entire first "volume" of the music is available absolutely free on The Pirate Bay for download. The man said he supported file-sharing and here's the proof of the pudding. For a mere 5$ you can grab the album today!
