fuzmeister: The World Is So Ugly... I Just Want To Find Something Beautiful
I've been intentionally listening to a lot of richly textured psychedelic music lately from the 1960s. I think this is to cope with complex situations rather than trying to sort them out - maybe escapism without the LSD. All I know is I've got to get me some Fairport Convention.
Anyone seen this film? It's based on a novel by Phillip K. Dick - looks pretty interesting. The rotoscoped feature is cool though I'm not sure it serves any context-based purpose. Either way, this movie came out around last summer. I saw a trailer at (maybe) X-Men III. Now tell me - why would they show trailers for movies that have limited releases. According to Wikipedia, this film got released in like seventeen theatres... unless I misread.
Independent films are brilliant, but I guess if they received the attention they deserved, they wouldn't be quite so much, would they?
fuzmeister: The Bread Aisle Smells Better Every Time
I went shopping tonight and, I've got to say, the bread/roll aisle always smells beautiful - that is, if things can smell beautiful. I'd love to live in a house filled with bread that never goes stale - beats any damn air freshener any day.
