Friend of mine from work sent me this video... I must say, this seems like it would be the logical decision over guitar hero...

Now I'm not saying Guitar Hero is crap, but if anyone seriously ever wanted to play guitar, this seems like it would be a much better decision... pricier, but better.

Kyle got me Battalion Wars 2 for Christmas and I just tonight started playing it (had to join the 120 club first - hehe). I have to say, from what I've played it's very good so far. Immediately the controls feel intuitive compared to the complex controls of the first game (maybe this is because I played the first). It doesn't waste a terrible amount of time with tutorial stuff and gives you a lot of info on the fly which I really like. Another neat little touch is how they've abbreviated Battalion Wars II (BWii) - whoever said calling the system Wii didn't allow for software naming potential was crazy apparently.

So far this game is a lot of fun - unfortunately, it'll probably end up being a sleeper hit like the original for Gamecube was.
