Thanks to Brandon's insight, online high scoring capabilities are coming along quite well - totally functional for Rapid Fire DX (currently in "beta" if anyone wants to help test). Keen, as Brandon would say!

Kate's moving out of her summer apartment this weekend. It's going to be hectic, but it will still be good to get away from workin' for the man.

Working with PHP and SQL is very fulfilling. If I were Brandon I'd have cherry cola bubbles in my brain 24/7. I'm not Brandon however. I have been working on online high scoring stuff for the S+F games which I've put off implementing for far too long. I feel like I've always depended on Brandon for certain stuff like that, the forums, etc. It could be because I've always had the illusion in my mind that I've been an idiot when it comes to PHP and database stuff... or it could be laziness. I'm going to say it's the former rather than the latter.

My neighbor just came over to ask me about our power going out periodically (I live in a duplex). The reason this is significant is because he asked who it was that plays guitar over here and I thought, "oh, shit." Quickly after asking he ended the sentence with "...because it sounds damn good."

Spontaneous moments like that flatter me more than most.
