The third Metroid Prime is now coming out August 27^th instead of the 20^th as originally announced. I have to say that since I'm beating the second one before I get the third this isn't bad news. Especially since I am going to be out of town for the 4^th this week.

In other news, I finally got The Big Lebowski on DVD this weekend thanks to Kate who surprised me with the collector's edition released in 2005.

I'm out of my element just thinking about it.

At one point several years ago, I had a huge amount of respect for Pop Cap Games - bringing enjoyable, casual games to Midwestern housewives everywhere. Then they began using extra game modes as a selling point for their software. Okay, no problem there. Then it turned out the extra modes of their games were just their other releases all together with different graphics. Talk about a load of crap.

Apparently now, Pop Cap's got their panties in a knot because they feel some independent developers are ripping off their oh-so-glorious concepts and ruining their life.
