fuzmeister: Yet Another Rant Regarding Game Dev
I feel like I have several roads I could take from this point in my life that would greatly alter whatever I end up doing. For years and years I have wanted to do game development. S+F Software really served as a great way to do stuff and warm up for what I figured would one day happen. I've got quite a bit of stuff on the back-burner in my mind - but as it stands all ends of this are poopy. Without shit-talking GOAT Store, I will simply say I am not satisfied post-Inhabitants DC with them. They are great guys, don't get me wrong. Just hasn't gone the way I was hoping it would, I guess.

I guess the major thing is that I'm severely disappointed that the game industry is changing insanely fast and it's nearly impossible for folks with a low budget to make an impact unless they are kissing the proverbial asses of middle America's youth. Casual gaming is not a good thing. Casual gaming has made the Halo series one of the most popular in the states.

Game dev may just be a pipe dream - progressively so. Mortal Kombat was developed by just five guys. I don't think you can do that anymore today.

fuzmeister: HD DVD May Be Worth It...
So my buddy Austin sent me a link here which shows some stunning comparisons of DVD to HD-DVD. I know it's better - but this is more impressive than I initially thought.

fuzmeister: Milestones
Six years ago, Trevor 3 was released on the S+F Software site. I fondly remember having a little release shin-dig with Josh Deeb, Kyle, and myself.

Two and a half years I started dating Kate. Hard to believe how fast time flies. Doesn't seem that long really.

Regardless, happy anniversary to my favorite chipmunk and to my love.

fuzmeister: More S+F Goodness
Players can now rate each of the released S+F Software titles available on the site now thanks to PHP, mySQL, AJAX, and a modified script from these folks.

Vote, dammit.
