I called Brandon a bit ago and bugged him about how to do some mySQL stuff using PHP. All he had to do was create an S+F Software database on the server and the rest I took care of. Woo-whee - local hit counter on the S+F site now!

I'm quite proud of myself. The hit counter even keeps a cookie so that the records are more accurate - of course, if you delete your cookies, you will register another hit on the site. Throw a little AJAX in and the counter will update live as people visit without you having to refresh your page. I knew this week's training at work was good for something. :)

Anyone else hoping Nintendo releases a new iteration of this title on the Wii? Imagine the possibilities with the controls. I can see a new Kid Icarus being comparable to, say, God of War or Shadow of the Colossus with it's mythological foes and neat atmosphere.

What are some old Nintendo titles that you would all want to see resurrected on the Wii?
