So I'm watching this movie Bad Taste directed and produced by Peter Jackson. For some reason I decided it would be a good flick after Kyle and Nick visited this weekend and we got on the topic of gore/zombie/sci-fi films. It's an interesting little picture thus far. The actual aliens do not appear until about 20 minutes 'til the end, but it's still quite intriguing for being so low budget.

Regardless of how the movie ends, it has impacted me in one way - that is inspiring to me to be able to actually make Bloody Hell II.

I was legitimately sad when Kyle and Nick left tonight. For one long weekend, they became my roommates - it was like brothers reunited. Then they were gone. Then everyone else left. I wish Kate could've been here today too - felt empty without her. I am sad.

This is an interesting method of having a better outlook of the world, but I'm not sure if I think it's really a great practice. According to this article I found on Slashdot, some UK teachers are dropping the holocaust from history lessons because it offends Muslims.

Don't get me wrong, Muslims, you can live in holocaust denial if you want to, but don't ruin the past for the rest of us... otherwise why not just offer creative writing in place of history and let people make up their own.

My friend Matt Lancaster just informed me that Green Day just performed on American Idol. They are officially sell-outs. A band that claims to be punk would never perform on a show like American Idol. Oh, well - I guess it's only a matter of time before everyone sells out.

The King of Kong - a 90 minute documentary on the Donkey Kong world record holder and an attempt to overthrow it. Sounds lame maybe, but according to these early reviews it is garnering some interesting comments. Look for it in wide(r) release this August.
