This is the one that's way worth it - they attempt to chronologically make sense of the Zeldaverse... their theory is one I haven't seen before of two separate timelines. One of them created with an absence of Link after Zelda sends him back to his childhood at the end of Ocarina of Time. The other one based on the timeline from where Link lives his childhood out (this one includes Majora's Mask).

Definately worth it! Go now.

So I go to Gamestop today to wish my buddy Jordan a happy birthday. It sucks to work on your birthday and I want to let him know I hope it gets better afterwards. As I am arriving at the store, a UPS truck is unloading boxes and Jordan says to me: "don't even ask me yet, Steve - I don't know."

He knows I'm wondering about the Wii. Wondering if they happened to get some. They happened to get three. Some lady in front of me bought two and I snagged the last. Traded in my Gamecube and some games (along with the GB Player) got $67 in store credit. Scored Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. Also downloaded Mario 64 for $10 after waiting, like, ten years to actually own the damn game. The Wii interface is awesome. From what I can tell, the controller is precise and pulls you right into the game. The emulation for the virtual console is perfect. Wii Sports is suitable as a pack-in title and seems perfect for introducing folks to the new control style. I'll be anxious to try Zelda.

The Wii was my graduation present to me - a couple months early. Either that or a gift for myself if I get this job at PTC. That is all, for now.

Tomorrow is launch day for Nintendo's Wii and I've been poking around the internet checking things out. I stumbled on this strange auction on eBay. Here is a small chunk of the eBay listing:

I am willing to stand in line wearing NOTHING but a two-sided sign that says "I need a Wii" and "Have you seen my Wii?"

I will have a beautiful young lady stand naked with me in line with a sign reading "Can I see your Wii?" and "His Wii is MINE!"

Since this can most likely get me thrown into jail... I am setting the starting bid at $500. Are you willing to pay $500 for public humiliation?

As for proof. I will have store managers and customers take pictures with me periodically until I finally purchase the Wii Sunday Morning. If I am thrown into jail, I will include my mug shots. If I am on the news, I will send you pictures and or video of my public humiliation.

Imagine that, huh?

I truly believe this video for Johnny Cash's posthumous release "God's Gonna Cut You Down" is pathetic. It makes a mockery of the man in black and the song.
