I found a page online detailing who General Tso was. I mean, I'm always eating the man's chicken, so I guess it pays to know who he was. Kate and I are getting Chinese food tonight and this restaurant calls it General Jou's Chicken. I don't know who that is. Ah, well. One militant cooking dude at a time.

How the hell do people in the real world actually live without oversleeping? I feel like it's inevitable sometimes. The absolute worst thing though is how guilty you feel when you do it. I mean, it's technically your fault, but you had no control over yourself when it happened... so why should you feel bad? Ugh - it doesn't matter, because the fact still remains: I overslept today. I'm not too happy to say the least.

Another thing that ticks me off is registration for university courses. We won't get into that now though.

Xanga was never something I really was into. As far as blogging goes, it doesn't offer much more than anything else. It has a cool feature where the album cover of the album you're listening to is displayed, but that's about it. I signed up a while ago to read other entries, but today I shut it down. They make you take some training thing so you know what you're getting yourself into.

Long live Ventilation 2.0 - my old staple since July 2002.

fuzmeister: No Matter Where You Go, Inventory Isn't Fun

Inventory has never particularly been my favorite thing to do in the retail biz. Most of the time, it's tedious and feels counterproductive. Last night, I did inventory at the KB Toys where I work part-time. Tonight, I've been elected to be one of three lucky employees to go to the Altoona store and do inventory there too.

Saint Patrick's Day is this Friday. I guess it has something to do with snakes being driven out of Ireland. Why have we turned it into a reason to drink booze? I think, in addition to normal fesitivities, this Friday will be a snake-driving extravaganza!

fuzmeister: How To Make a Shortcut to Shut Down

Ever wanted to make a desktop shortcut to turn off your computer? Just in case you did, here's an easy way to do it: simply put this as the location in your shortcut.

%windir%system32shutdown.exe -s -t 00
This won't bring up the normal options box for shutting down or logging off, it'll simply turn off the computer. It can be very useful in some instances.
