fuzmeister: End of America
I don't try to use this space for anything political too often, but seeing Porter Stansberry's ridiculous online video made me feel the need to toss my two cents in.
It's not secret that this country and the world at large is swirling down the proverbial shitter. I'm not attempting to point fingers at any one group, individual, or business here; I'm simply saying that most people of moderate intelligence can see the writing on the wall and realize things ain't what they used to be.
Now, my real problem with Stansberry's video isn't that he points out facts in support of western decline (though he seems to only address certain facts that support his cause). My problem is how blatantly obvious his intentions are by the end of the video. He wants to make an easy buck and sincerely hopes what you just watched has scared you enough to fork over a few bucks.
Lame.
If people like this who saw the economic problems we're having on a national and international scale could get past trying to make a quick buck, they might be more respected by the mainstream and taken more seriously. Then maybe we could fix problems instead of simply riding the wave out in a proverbial handbasket.
