fuzmeister: Having Recently Returned From a Trip Overseas
Maybe it's my age, but London was basically NYC with British people. There were cool things to be seen, but, after they'd been seen, I was ready to turn in and roll out of town.

Wales was the most beautiful stop; I'd 100% visit Wales again and I need to make it a point to see Scotland before I die as I've been told it's even more awe-inspiring.

Lastly, Parisians get an unfair rep. It might have just been our luck or the time we were visiting, but most Parisians were professional and friendly. Paris' metro system was certainly more enjoyable than the London underground as well.

These are just my subjective viewpoints though...

I'm going on a trip to Florida later this week. I can't say I've ever been there. Well, I could, but that'd be a lie.

I'm trying to keep an open mind about the whole thing despite the image I get of Florida.

Figured I'd bore you all with a few non-descript photos from my trip last week.

I went out to visit Kyle in Kalamazoo this weekend. The GPS took me on some outlandish path the way there after dropping the Ms. off in Muncie. I ended up having to go down a dirt road past some farms and a white dog chased my car most of the way down that road. The whole experience felt very much like Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

When I was en route from Kalamazoo back to Muncie, the GPS lead me on a much more... developed road. Near Fort Wayne I saw a dead rottweiler along the side of the road. I wondered who would let a dog like that play on the highway, but I didn't stop to check the tags.

This is probably such a canine-centric post due to the fact that Kate and I just got a puppy. The thing is needy as hell pretty well-mannered. Either way, it hasn't affected my daily routine too horribly much yet. I suppose we'll wait and see what happens a few months down the road.

It was nice to come back to where I'm from for a couple of days, but the memories are just too overwhelming. How does life feel for people who have woken up from a coma and try to readjust to normal life? I don't want to know - change isn't bad, but realizing you're now a visitor in a place you once weren't feels like it is.
