nitrusoxyde: How do you spell relief?
Well, right now I'm spelling it C O R Y. I am really surprised how much stress relief just talking to someone again can be.
Besides the fact that I am talking to Cory again, I got some new gizmos! The combined fact is making this week shape up much nicer than the past few.
First off, mom gave me one of the old laptops. I think its partially due to the fact that she doesn't want my faggot father to use it against her when he's trying to take shit from her during their divorce...but anyway.
I'm trying to get Windows 2000 running on it - but that's prooving a bit difficult. Drivers for the integrated sound card/modem/ethernet card are hard to find, and Windows2000 isn't finding them. Perhaps I'll try XP pro?
I also got a NEW DIGITAL CAMERA... totally rad. Its the worlds smallest 3.2 Megapixel camera. Here's the Exelim EX-S3 Website. [link below]
There are a few reasons I got it... Number one is obviously the form factor. The thing is *LITERALLY* the size of a credit card that's 3/8ths of an inch thick. Secondly, its got to be the fastest camera I've ever gotten my hands on. The power-up takes about 200ms, and there's about a 350ms lag time between taking pictures. This sucker is blazing. The other deciding factor is what makes it a great camera for ANYONE - a full 2 inches of LCD and a menu driven interface that would make SONY jelous.
The thing retails for $350 at RadioShack, but of course we all know I got a discount. (And a nice payment plan...)
Speaking of RadioShack, I was #1 associate in the district last week. I raked in around $20.40 an hour. I beat the second place associate by almost $5 an hour. Our STORE is doing awesome. We had 4 of the top 5 associates (AKA our entire store). I think my boss is pleased with me, hopefully I can keep this up.
