You can access your vent journal by appending your name to the main url.

An example: http://www.sevensoupcans.com/vent2/~fuzmeister

And it will automatically redirect to your journal.

I'm working on the permissions system, and a nicer way to edit posts than what we have now. More on that soon.

Brandon: On work and blackberrys

So I had to switch jobs at work. It is rather the suck, since its all hardware work, and let's face it, I'm not a hardware guy.

On the plus side I do now have a Blackberry device, paid for by the workplace. Free calling and unlimited data? It is quite sexy.

In other news, Vent2 development has slowed, but it is getting there, I promise.

Well, more fun with Vent2. The system is now fully compliant XHTML 1.0, and the RSS and CSS both validate properly. And you can add RSS feeds as live bookmarks in Firefox.

It's getting closer. Please give me some feedback if you just want me to throw the site live? Everything seems to be working alright. I still need to add new account registration, but everything on the user end, with the exception of themes is working right now. I just have the one theme.
